Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 economic experts foresee devastation ahead. According to USA TODAY, Behind the mainstream Wall Street happy talk about more stable financial markets and an improving economy are grim warnings of tough times ahead from a small group of doomsayers who warn that the worst of the financial crisis is still to come. Harry Dent, author of the new book The Great Crash Ahead, says another stock market crash is coming in 2013 or 2014 due to a bad ending to the global debt bubble. Gerald Celente, a trend forecaster at the Trends Research Institute, says Americans should brace themselves for an “economic 9/11″ due to policymakers’ inability to solve the world’s financial and economic woes. And Robert Prechter, author of Conquer the Crash, says today’s economy has similarities to the Great Depression and warns that 1930s-style deflation is still poised to cause financial havoc.
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
North Korea threatens a “sacred war” against S. Korea and the U.S. According to Reuters, North Korea threatened to wage a “sacred war” in response to joint military exercises planned by its arch-rival South Korea and the United States, saying it was determined to keep Washington from imposing its political will on it. The statement was issued by the North’s National Defense Commission a day after the secretive state held its first round of talks with the United States since the young and untested Kim Jong-un took office in December upon the death of his father.
WikiLeaks document reveals that some U.S. intelligence officials believed that ‘Israel had destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure’. According to the Jerusalem Post, In an email to a U.S. intelligence group from November 7, 2011, an Israeli intelligence agent is quoted as saying of reports that Israel is preparing a military offensive against Iran, “I think this is a diversion. The Israelis already destroyed all the Iranian nuclear infrastructure on the ground weeks ago.” The source adds that he believes the tension with Iran is part of a European conspiracy. The e-mail went on to say, “The current ‘let’s bomb Iran’ campaign was ordered by the EU leaders to divert the public’s attention from their at home financial problems.”
The Bible says in Mark 13:7, “And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our bootcamp subject for today is titled “The peril of removing the imminency of Christ’s return” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following in response to this question:
In Matthew 24:48, in one of the parables of the Olivet Discourse, Jesus said, “But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming…” What kind of servant is that? An evil servant! You say, “Do you mean it is an evil thing to say that Jesus is going to delay his coming and that we’re going to go through all kinds of judgment?” Yes, I think it is. I believe that if you remove the imminent return of Jesus Christ you remove, perhaps, the greatest motivation for service to Christ that the believer has.
In I John 3:2-3, it says “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” If you take away the blessed hope, you take away the greatest impetus to purity in the life of the believer.
I serve Jesus Christ because one of these days, He is going to split heaven with His coming and He is going to say “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” When he comes in the clouds, and I go to meet him in the air, I want to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” I serve Him because I’m looking for Him to come. And when He comes our works are judged and we are rewarded accordingly. I’m looking for Jesus, and because I’m living every moment as if He could come in the next, I pray it is purifying my life.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to pray without ceasing in the last days. In light of that, we are at part two of our series on how we should pray in the end times.
According to End Times Preparation at www.endtimespreparation.com:
Christ says that a man who is genuine, prays to be heard by God and not by men. In these last days, knowing how to pray means we know how to direct our prayers to God.
The place we choose for end times prayer should be private. Christ says: “Get alone”; “Enter your closet…shut your door.” Be unobserved, undisturbed, and unheard.
Getting alone means to be unobserved—to be out of everyone’s sight.
Getting alone means to be undisturbed—to avoid interruptions and disturbances.
Getting alone means to be unheard—to concentrate and meditate to allow God the freedom to work in your heart as He wishes.
Our lives in the end times are cluttered with busy activity and it will get more so without intentionally getting alone to pray.
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
