Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Egypt is Sending in Troops to Secure Sinai Peninsula After Rocket Attack on Israeli City. According to The Blaze, the Egyptian government is scrambling to gain control over the Sinai Peninsula after Israel delivered a threatening message to the country in the wake of the recent rocket attack on the southern city of Eilat. According to Egyptian officials, Israel intimated that if Egypt doesn’t gain control over the region soon, Israel will step in and do it for them. The rockets which landed near Eilat likely originated in the Sinai Peninsula, which, though it is technically part of Egypt, has become something of a “no man’s land” since the Egyptian revolution. In addition to the recent rocket attack, gas pipelines have also been sabotaged, and there are numerous reports of hostage-taking and kidnappings in the area.
North Korea has rocket in position at launch pad. According to the Associated Press, North Korean space officials have moved all three stages of a long-range rocket into position for a controversial launch, vowing Sunday to push ahead with their plan in defiance of international warnings against violating a ban on missile activity. The Associated Press was among foreign news agencies allowed a firsthand look Sunday at preparations under way at the coastal Sohae (SO-HAY) Satellite Station in northwestern North Korea. North Korea announced plans last month to launch a communications satellite using a three-stage rocket during mid-April celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the birth of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung.
77% of Americans Believe Jesus Christ Rose From the Dead. According to Rasmussen Reports, Americans’ belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ remains strong. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 86% of American Adults believe the person known to history as Jesus Christ walked the Earth 2,000 years ago. Just seven percent (7%) don’t share this belief. Furthermore, 77% of those polled believe Jesus rose from the dead. This is only a percentage point lower than in 2011 and 2010, when 78% espoused the same belief.
The Bible says in Acts 4:10-12, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole…Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Today we are beginning a new series titled “Misunderstandings Regarding the Believers’ Rewards” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject.
The first misunderstanding is the belief that the believer’s judgment is a final check before entrance into heaven is granted.
Many people see this as an event to determine whether or not a person can enter heaven. This is the view that sees St. Peter at the gate of heaven weighing all our deeds. If our good ones outweigh our bad ones we are granted entrance into Heaven.
This view is absolutely ridiculous. In the first place, what scripture ever gave Peter the right to sit outside the gate of heaven at some check-in station? More importantly, by the time we get to the Judgment Seat of Christ, we will have already been raptured, translated, and glorified. And the only people who go in the Rapture are those who are already redeemed. Once we get that far, there’s not going to be any check-in station we have to go through, or passport we have to give, or some special qualification we have to exhibit. It all has been taken care of.
Romans 8:30 speaks to this issue from a different angle. “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Therefore, if you’re glorified, you have already been justified. There is nothing more to do in terms of qualifications. So the idea that somebody is standing outside heaven’s gate with a little book to see whether you will enter or not is ridiculous. This judgment takes place in the Father’s house in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ…not outside the pearly gates.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants you to be able to recognize apostasy infiltrating the church so that you can stand against it. In light of that, we are at part 8 of our series titled ‘What is Apostasy and How to Recognize It’. Our subject for today is titled “Why You Need to Pray for Discernment”.
According to S. Michael Houdmann:
In A.D. 325, the Council of Nicea convened primarily to take up the issue of Arius and his teaching regarding the person of Christ. Much to Arius’s dismay, the end result was his excommunication and a statement made in the Nicene Creed, which affirmed Christ’s divinity: “We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of all things visible and invisible; and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten of his Father, of the substance of the Father, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten not made, being of one substance with the Father.”
Arius may have died centuries ago, but his spiritual children are still with us to this day in the form of cults like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and others who deny Christ’s true essence and person. Sadly, until Christ returns and every last spiritual enemy has been removed, tares such as these will be present among the wheat. In fact, Scripture says apostasy will only get worse as Christ’s return approaches. The Bible says in Matthew 24:10: “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.” Paul echoes Jesus in his inspired writings as well. The apostle told the Thessalonians that a great falling away would precede Christ’s second coming in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and that the end times would be characterized by tribulation and hollow religious charlatans in 2 Timothy 3: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers…Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
This being true, it is critical, now more than ever, that every believer pray for discernment, combat apostasy, and contend earnestly for the faith that has once and for all been delivered to the saints.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
