Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Middle East Crisis Prophecy Conference says World is at the ‘very final part of the end times.’ According to the Christian Post, A conference focused on the current hostile climate toward Israel in the Middle East has revealed that a number of prominent historians and theologians believe the world is witnessing biblical prophecies related to the End Times unfold before its very eyes. The conference speakers reiterated the importance of Christians knowing what is currently happening in the Middle East. President of Chosen People Ministries, Dr. Mitch Glaser said, “it is even more important to make sure that we interpret what is going on in the Middle East through the lens of Scripture. This conference tried to help Christians understand that prophecy should be studied seriously – and humbly – without sensationalism, which will motivate Christians to reach Jewish people with the Gospel and become more motivated to reach the world for Christ and to live godly as we see the day approaching.”
Matthew 24:14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Some mainline churches are boycotting Israel. According to Ynet News, All five of the mainline denominations in the United States – Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Lutheran and United Church of Christ – have debated or adopted policies intended to divest or boycott Israel. While these churches seem to be lining up to divest from Israel, the Episcopal Church’s Presiding Bishop condemned the boycott. Bishop Katharine Schori said, “The Church does not endorse divestment or boycott. It’s not going to be helpful to endorse divestment or boycotts of Israel.” According to opinion columnist Gi-ul-io Me-ot-ti, if boycotting and divestment measures are not rejected, “the global Churches will become unabashed apologists for Arab rejectionism, wrapping genocidal violence against Israelis in the mantle of innocent suffering and caricaturing the Jews as a divinely forsaken people, superseded in God’s favor by Christian “New Israel,” stripped of any right to a land or a future.”
God told Abraham in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
Brazil Wants to Collect Biometric Data on All of Its Citizens to Prevent Fraud. According to The Blaze, The Brazilian government hopes to collect about 1.9 billion digital finger prints of its citizens that will be used on biometric identity cards to help cut down on fraud. By 2018, Phillips writes, the 132 million people voting in the country could be verifying their identity using their thumb. Since 2001, Brazil’s voting system has been 100 percent digital and fully automated but officials seem to hope this will secure elections even further.

Today we are at Part 4 of our series titled “The Believers’ Rewards” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject.
Who is going to be present at the judgment seat of Christ?
In II Corinthians 5:10 it says “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” I believe the “we” refers to Christians in the body of Christ, the church. Now, first of all, the reason I believe this is because Paul, as a Christian talking to other Christians, would naturally use the pronoun “we” to encompass him as well as them. But I think the strongest proof that “we” refers to Christians is the context of chapter 5.
For example, verse 1 reads: “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” Can an unbeliever say that? No. So the “we” in verse 1 obviously refers to Christians.
Verse 5 says, “Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.” Can anyone but a believer say that? No. Only a believer possesses the Holy Spirit.
Verses 6 and 8 say “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord…We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Can anyone but a believer say that? No. Only believers are going to be present with the Lord.
You see, the “we” of verse 10 has to be the “we” of faith. Only those of us who know Christ will be able to mount the platform to receive a reward.
First Corinthians 3 details for us the same scene as in II Corinthians 5 — the Judgment Seat of Christ. Let’s see what it says about the people who attend this judgment.
Now, some of the works that we are going to offer aren’t going to be very valuable, so they will get burned up. Verse 15 tells us, “If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved…” Everybody at the bema is going to be saved. There will be a certain amount of loss that we suffer, but in the end we can’t lose. There will be some reward for every believer.
Verse 11 says “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” So, a person won’t even be at the bema unless they have the right foundation.
And verse 16 says “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
The Judgment Seat of Christ is only for believers.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants you to be able to recognize apostasy infiltrating the church so that you can stand against it. In light of that, we are at part 6 of our series titled ‘What is Apostasy and How to Recognize It’. Our subject for today is titled “Ideas Have Consequences”.
According to S. Michael Houdmann:
That God takes apostasy and false teaching seriously is evidenced by the fact that every New Testament book except Philemon contains warnings about false teaching. Why is this? Simply because ideas have consequences. Right thinking and its fruit produces goodness, whereas wrong thinking and its accompanying action results in undesired penalties. As an example, the 1970s Cambodian killing fields were the product of the nihilistic worldview of Jean Paul Sartre and his teaching. The Khmer Rouge’s leader Pol Pot lived out Sartre’s philosophy toward the people in a clear and frightening way, which was articulated in this manner: “To keep you is no benefit. To destroy you is no loss.” The idea that he lived by had terrible consequences for the people of Cambodia.
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
