Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As promised, Egypt begins cutting back relations with Israel. According to Jewish World Review, Egypt has terminated its contract to supply natural gas to Israel, ending a joint venture that was a cornerstone of the peace process between the neighboring states. Ampal, an Israeli partner in the East Mediterranean Gas joint venture that operated the pipeline between the two countries, announced Sunday night that Egyptian suppliers notified EMG that they were terminating the gas supply. Israeli Finance Minister Yu-val Stei-nitz expressed “great worry” about reports of the Egyptian termination. His office said cancellation would set a “dangerous precedent that darkens the peace treaties and the atmosphere of peace between Israel and Egypt.” An Israeli official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said it would be the “final bit that breaks the camel’s back” in the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. “The peace deal between us and Egypt has been on very shaky ground and now the final earthquake has happened. It appears the new Egyptian government is giving all the signals that it is no longer interested in the partnership and agreements it has established with Israel.”
The United Nations says crime generates trillions of dollars each year. According to the Associated Press, criminality worldwide generates proceeds in the trillions of dollars each year, making crime one of the world’s “top 20 economies.” With the scope of global crime — and particularly organized crime — threatening emerging economies and fomenting international instability, the head of the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime, Yury Fed-o-tov, called for concerted world action to combat the trend. She said, “We need to recognize that the problem requires a global solution. No country can handle this problem alone.”
The Bible says in Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
North Korea threatens South Korea with special military action. According to Voice of America, North Korea is escalating its war of words against the South Korean government over what the North perceives as insults by the South. Senior newscaster Ri Chun Hee interrupted regular programming on North Korea’s central television station early Monday afternoon and forcefully read an unusual announcement from a unit of the army’s supreme command. The announcer said a special operation would reduce to “ashes in three or four minutes” the supporters of South Korea’s president and their bases utilizing “unprecedented peculiar means and methods.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Statistical Evidence for the Return of Jesus Christ” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject.
The emphasis of the doctrine of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in Scripture is seen in the following statistics:
1. Prophecy occupies one-fifth of Scripture, and the Second Coming occupies one-third of that one-fifth.
2. Of the 333 prophecies concerning Jesus Christ, only 109 of them were fulfilled during His first coming, leaving 224 of them to be fulfilled in his second coming.
3. Of the 46 Old Testament prophets, less than 10 of them speak of events in Christ’s first coming, while 36 of them speak of events connected with his second coming.
4. There are a total of 1,527 Old Testament passages referring to the Second Coming.
5. There are 7,959 verses in the New Testament, 330 of which refer specifically to the second coming — that is one out of every 25.
6. Next to the subject of faith, the subject of the second coming is the most dominant subject in the New Testament.
7. For every time the first coming is mentioned in the Bible, the second coming is mentioned eight times.
8. For every time the Atonement is mentioned once, the Second Coming is mentioned twice.
9. The Lord refers to his return twenty-one times.
10. Men are exhorted to be ready for the return of Jesus Christ over 50 times.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to share the message of the Gospel with those around us. In light of that, we are at the second part of our series titled ‘How to gain a passion for winning souls’.
According to S. Michael Houdmann:
How can we gain a passion for spreading the good news and winning others to Christ in these difficult days when there are so many who oppose our work every step of the way? It starts by having Jesus Christ front and center in our own lives. Indeed, our passion for winning souls will increase as our passion for Christ Himself and our walk with Him becomes stronger. Two of the best ways to strengthen our Christian walk are to read His Word daily and to pray continually. When we fill our hearts and minds with Christ, we can’t help but to have a passion for sharing Him with others.
The most enthusiastic laborers are those who have a heart that is on fire for Christ, and this should actually be easy when we consider the magnitude of what our sinless Savior did for us at Calvary. His willing acceptance of death on our behalf cured us from our terminal disease (sin) and saved us from an unfathomable eternity in Hell. Yet we know what happens to those who die apart from Christ. And this hopeless eternity apart from God, let alone in the fiery darkness of inextinguishable fire, should motivate us to win as many people to Christ as possible, especially when we consider the brevity of life that the apostle James aptly calls “a vapor that appears for a little while and then passes away”. Once we cross the eternal horizon, there is no going back and the time for winning souls will be over. Thus, not only is the harvest great and the workers few, but, on top of this, our time is very limited.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
