Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hezbollah and Iran implicated in plot to kill Israeli and U.S. diplomats. According to Ynet News, the Washington Post reported that new evidence has emerged indicating the involvement of Hezbollah operatives and Iranian agents in several attempts to assassinate Israeli, American and Saudi officials. According to the report, Iran-linked operatives attempted to kill foreign diplomats in at least seven countries over a span of 13 months. The targets included two Saudi officials, a half-dozen Israelis and several Americans. Many experts see the incidents as part of an ongoing shadow war, a multi-sided, covert struggle in which Iran also has been the victim of assassinations and cyber attacks. The officials told the Washington Post that the assassination attempts halted abruptly in early spring, when Iran began to shift its tone after weeks of aggressive anti-Western rhetoric and agreed to resume negotiations with the six world powers on proposals to curb its nuclear program.
A powerful cyber weapon has been discovered in the Middle East. According to Reuters, security experts have discovered a new data-stealing virus dubbed Flame that they say has lurked inside thousands of computers across the Middle East for as long as five years as part of a sophisticated cyber warfare campaign. Kas-per-sky Lab security senior researcher Roel Schou-wen-berg, whose company discovered the virus, said it is the most complex piece of malicious software discovered to date. Schou-wen-berg said he did not know who built Flame. If the Lab’s analysis is correct, Flame could be the third major cyber weapon uncovered after the Stux-net virus that attacked Iran’s nuclear program in 2010, and its data-stealing cousin Duqu, named after the Star Wars villain. The discovery by one of the world’s largest makers of anti-virus software will likely fuel speculation that nations have already secretly deployed other cyber weapons.
Turkey scrambles jets after Israeli aircraft enters Turkish airspace. According to Haaretz, Turkish military officials said an Israeli aircraft repeatedly violated the airspace of Turkish Cyprus earlier this week near the site of a controversial gas exploration field. The reported incident is just one in a long line of apparent scuffles between Israel, Cyprus, and Turkey over the rights to explore the eastern section of the Mediterranean for gas and oil. Late last year, Turkish media reported that Israeli fighter jets were scrambled at a Turkish seismic research ship in the Eastern Mediterranean, saying that two F-15s took off to face the Turkish vessel, flying through the airspace of both Cyprus and Turkish Cyprus. The report added that the warplanes approached the Turkish ship despite incessant warnings by forces in Turkish Cyprus, according to which the planes had breached the territory’s airspace.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “God’s Program for Israel” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
In Romans 11:25-27 Paul says, “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” Has this happened yet? Of course not!
The phrase “the fullness of the Gentiles” refers to the Church Age. It began at Pentecost and ends at the Rapture. Once the church is complete, the Rapture will occur, the blindness will be taken away from Israel, and “all Israel shall be saved.” But, you see, Israel can’t be saved until Jesus first comes for the church. He must come…the program of the church demands it.
So, we see that the return of Jesus is essential, in every way, to God’s program: The climax and fulfillment of the nations (judgment) depends on it; and the climax and fulfillment of Israel (salvation) depends on it. Jesus is coming. God’s person demands it as well as His program.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to be active and engaged in spiritual warfare in the last days. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. The title of this section is “When Christians Wouldn’t Know They Were in a War (Part 14) — Ignorance of the Spiritual Realm Continued”.
Missionary and professor Paul Hiebert writes
Belief in the middle level began to die in the 17th and 18th centuries… The result was the secularization of science and the mystification of religion… It should be apparent why many missionaries trained in the West had no answers to the problems of the middle level — they often did not even see it. When the tribal people spoke of fear of evil spirits, missionaries denied the existence of the spirits rather than claim the power of Christ over them.
The same graduate schools and seminaries that trained those Western missionaries also train the pastors that fill the pulpits of our land. It is no surprise, then, that so many Christians don’t know the enemy against whom they struggle. The “middle tier” of reality has been excluded from their worldview — the realm that allows Satan and his demons to walk to and fro on the earth, seeking whom they might devour. Before we can know our enemy, we must believe there is an enemy to know. We must stop looking at life only as the culture conditions us to do, through the lens of science, and begin looking at it through the lens of Scripture — through which we will see the realm in which biblical spiritual warfare is fought.
We must not make the mistake of thinking that because this middle tier is “spiritual,” it does not have the reality that our material world has. It’s a common mistake to believe the word spirit means something ethereal, wispy, insubstantial, or less than solid. We assume that the invisible spirit world is somehow less real, less solid, and has little effect on the “real” world we perceive with our senses. The opposite is true. The spirit world may be more solid, more substantial than our material world. Jesus showed us the nature of the spiritual body after His resurrection. He could pass through walls, not because His body was less substantial than the walls, but because the walls were less substantial than His body and could not hold Him back. It is through this overlooked middle tier — this solid, powerful, and highly active spirit world — that Satan attacks us and influences our behavior.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
