Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Reports say Syria is moving scud missile launchers to Israeli and Turkish borders. According to Israel National News, Jordanian news site Ah-bar Ba-lad-na reports that western spy satellites have recently spotted movements of Syrian heavy missile launchers northward and southward, toward Syria’s borders with Turkey and Israel. The site says hundreds of high-caliber launchers are being moved, and that these could only be long range Scud missile launchers. Syria has threatened in the past that in the event of foreign military intervention on its soil, it will not hesitate to fire missiles at Israel and Turkey in order to ignite a large scale regional war.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:6: “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
A space weather expert says a major solar storm could happen soon. According to the Los Angeles Times, a stream of highly charged particles from the sun is headed straight toward Earth, threatening to plunge cities around the world into darkness and bring the global economy screeching to a halt. This isn’t the premise of the latest doomsday thriller. Massive solar storms have happened before and according to Mike Hapgood, a space weather scientist at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Oxford, England another one is likely to occur soon. Much of the planet’s electronic equipment, as well as orbiting satellites, have been built to withstand these periodic geomagnetic storms. But Hapgood argues that the world is still not prepared for a truly damaging solar storm. Hapgood says, “A big geomagnetic storm can essentially put extra electric currents into the grid. If it gets bad enough, you can have a complete failure of the power grid. You would get big disturbances in the Earth’s upper atmosphere and that could be very disruptive to things like GPS [the network of global positioning system satellites]. The storms can also disrupt communications on transoceanic flights.”
The Bible says in Luke 21:25: “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.”
Germany says it ‘will not accept an Iranian nuclear weapon’. According to the AFP, German Foreign Minister Gui-do Wes-ter-welle vowed that the international community will block Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, as he underscored Germany’s steadfast support for Israel. Westerwelle told a Jewish advocacy event in Washington that “the current Iranian nuclear program represents an enormous danger not only to Israel but to the region as a whole. We cannot and will not accept an Iranian nuclear weapon… We need substantive and verifiable guarantees that Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapon.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “Jesus Christ’s Statements About His Return (Part 2)” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
In his Olivet Discourse, Jesus Christ also talked about his second coming.
Matthew 24:27, 30-31 says: “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be…And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Matthew 25:31 says: “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.”
Jesus said that He is coming back, so His credibility is at stake. For someone to come along and say, “I believe in the deity of Christ, but not in His Second Coming,” doesn’t make sense. If someone believes that Jesus is God, then they must also believe He spoke the truth. And the truth He spoke is, “I will come again.”
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
The Bible says that in the last days, persecution of believers will increase. God wants us to stand with and support those who are suffering for the Christian faith. In light of that, please listen to part four of an article titled “Remembering the Persecuted Church and How You Can Help” from the Ankerberg Theological Research Institute.
As they have been in most centuries, Christians today are persecuted throughout the world. As we consider our persecuted brethren, we need to keep three things in mind.
First, we must fight against persecution globally, whether through prayer, time, or finances.
Second, we need to remember that God knows and sees everything: “Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear.” (Psalm 10 17). “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” (Psalm 34:15) “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10).
Whether that deliverance occurs in this life by any number of means or through death itself, the deliverance does occur and if it is by death, it is an eternal and wonderful deliverance. At that point, we only need to pray for the grieving. But let us be encouraged by the fact that often there is deliverance in this life, simply because the persecution is so common. Even 2,000 years ago the apostle Paul could write: “But thou hast fully known my…patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:10-12)
And yet God does far more than hear and see everything; He literally indwells the believer, so He is, so to speak, all too aware of our suffering. The Scripture is clear that not only Jesus indwells us, but the Holy Spirit also and the Father as well – the entire Trinity dwells within us. God is our companion in suffering, having gone before us.
Third, on the other hand we must realize that even in severe persecution and martyrdom, the devil still loses, God still wins and the believer triumphs eternally because God promises that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
