Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ahead of talks with Iran, Israeli Prime Minister reminds world that Iran wants to destroy Israel. According to the Associated Press, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran is seeking atomic weapons to destroy Israel and world powers should not make any concessions over its nuclear program. Netanyahu made the remarks as the head of the U.N nuclear watchdog was in Tehran on a key mission that could lead to the resumption of probes on whether Iran has secretly worked on a nuclear weapon. At a conference for civil servants, the prime ministers said “Iran wants to destroy Israel and it is developing nuclear weapons to fulfill that goal. Against this malicious intention, leading world powers need to display determination and not weakness. They should not make any concessions to Iran.”
Netanyahu says Israel will continue to build Jerusalem and keep it undivided. According to Haaretz, during a ceremony marking Jerusalem Day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli capital will never be divided and that building in Jerusalem will continue. He stated, “We will protect Jerusalem. Israel without Jerusalem is like a body without a heart. Our heart will never be divided again.” He warned that “a nation willing to sacrifice it’s heart will convince its enemies that it is willing to give up on everything” and said that he does not believe that abandoning the Temple Mount to a different power will preserve the freedom of religion.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Guarantee of the Holy Spirit” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
The Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit, continually states, “Jesus is coming,” through all the New Testament writers. When they wrote, the mind of the Spirit was guiding the pen. Therefore, the New Testament is the testimony of the holy Spirit to the person of Christ and His Second Coming.
In II Peter 1:19-21, Peter shows the importance of the testimony of the Holy Spirit (through Scripture) to the return of Christ. He has just finished saying, in verses 16-18, “Do you know how I know Jesus is coming? I personally saw his coming glory.” You say, “Well, that’s great, Peter, but that’s your experience.” So he says in verses 19-21: “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed…in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Peter says, “I not only know Jesus is coming because I have experienced his glory, but I know he’s coming because the Holy Spirit gives testimony to it in the pages of Scripture.
So, Jesus must return to earth because the promise of the Father, the statements of the Son, and the guarantee of the Holy Spirit demand it. These three make up the person of God. Therefore, Jesus must return because God’s Person demands it.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to be active and engaged in spiritual warfare in the last days. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. The title of this section is “When Christian’s Wouldn’t Know They Were in a War (Part 9) — Satan as an Undetected Enemy Continued”.
The apostle Paul warned of false apostles in his day who masqueraded as apostles of light. They were empowered by Satan who himself is able to appear as an angel of light.
We do not see Satan himself or his demonic minions, but the effects of their presence are clearly visible. We see those effects daily as we survey the chaotic and painful terrain of Planet Earth. Never forget: The Bible says in I John 5:19, “the whole world lieth in wickedness.” You would shudder to know how many times he has passed near you as he roams “to and fro on the earth…walking back and forth on it.”
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
