Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Michael T. Snyder says the countdown to the break up of the euro has officially begun. According to The Economic Collapse Blog, Christian economist Michael T. Snyder says, the results of the elections in France and Greece have made it abundantly clear that there is a tremendous backlash against the austerity approach that Germany has been pushing. All over Europe, prominent politicians and incumbent political parties are being voted out. In fact, Nicolas Sarkozy has become the 11th leader of a European nation to be defeated in an election since 2008. We have seen governments fall in the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Greece. Whenever they get a chance, the citizens of Europe are using the ballot box to send a message that they do not like what is going on. If Germany pulled out of the euro tomorrow, the euro would absolutely collapse, bond yields for the rest of the eurozone would skyrocket to unprecedented heights, and without German bailout money, troubled nations such as Greece would be headed directly for default. The rest of the eurozone is absolutely and completely dependent on Germany at this point. Right now some of the largest hedge funds in the world are betting against the eurozone as a recent Daily Finance article pointed out. Some of the world’s most prominent hedge fund managers are betting against the eurozone. They’re taking positions against the core countries, economies that — until now — everyone has assumed were rock-solid. Yes, the countdown to the break up of the euro has officially begun. A great financial crisis is going to erupt in Europe, and it is going to shake the world to the core.
Israeli prime minister vows to hold ‘serious’ talks on Iran. According to the Associated Press, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his new coalition government will hold serious talks about Iran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu has hinted that Israel would be prepared to strike Iran’s nuclear program if it feels threatened. His new coalition partner, Kadima Party leader Sha-ul Mo-faz, has spoken out against an Israeli strike on Iran. Netanyahu told a news conference that he and Mofaz already have had many discussions about Iran and will continue to hold “serious and responsible” talks on the matter. As a former military chief, Mofaz’s opinion could carry great weight in a decision on whether to strike.
China says it is ready for any ‘escalation’ in maritime dispute with Philippines. According to Voice of America News, China says it is ready to respond to “any escalation” by the Philippines, as a tense, month-long standoff continues over a disputed group of islands in the South China Sea. The state-run news agency quoted Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying as saying Beijing is not optimistic about the dispute over the Scarborough Shoal, located about 230 kilometers off the northwestern Philippines. On Monday, Fu summoned a top Philippine diplomat in Beijing to make a “serious representation” over the situation. Fu told Alex Chua that Manila was escalating tensions and making it more difficult to reach a negotiated settlement.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:6, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Holy Spirit’s Statements About Jesus’ Return (Part 1)” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
Just as the Father is truth and the Son is truth, when Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit, He called Him the Spirit of truth. The Spirit can’t lie either. And do you know what the Spirit started saying when He got here?…”Jesus is coming!” You say, “When did the Spirit announce the Second Coming of Christ?” He did it through His inspiration of the New Testament. For example, let’s look at how the Holy Spirit spoke through Paul
1 Corinthians 1:4-7: “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 3:20: “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Colossians 3:4: “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to be active and engaged in spiritual warfare in the last days. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. The title of this section is “When Christian’s Wouldn’t Know They Were in a War (part 1)”.
The term “War on Terror” was formally introduced in the post-9/11 environment. During the presidency of George W. Bush, “War on Terror” became part of the cultural conversation. The enemy was any person or nation that threatened or carried out violent acts against the American people.
Unfortunately, the subsequent administration discontinued the term “War on Terror” and replaced it with “Overseas Contingency Operation.” But if we fail to call offensive and defensive military actions “war,” what exactly are they? And how do we execute such non-war activity? How do we identify the enemy and his strategy against us?
We need to raise these same questions about a similar kind of warfare with which I have far more experience.
Biblically and practically speaking, we are in a spiritual war. The Christian’s spiritual enemy is not in uniform, and he doesn’t meet us on an identifiable battlefield. He uses ruthless and unconventional tactics, such as deceit, deflection and disguise. A large number of pastors and teachers ignore or downplay spiritual warfare to the point that many professing Christians don’t even know they’re in a war. This puts Christians in serious danger. The Church of Jesus Christ needs to know its enemy and his strategies. And above all, Christians need to know how to gain victory over this enemy.
Two things are happening today that I never thought I would live to see. First, spiritual warfare is getting much more intense and Satan is becoming much more real. Second, as mentioned before, too many Christians are not taking spiritual warfare seriously or even believing such a war is going on. These two factors taken together mean we have a crisis on our hands. When the danger increases and awareness decreases, an alarm needs to be sounded to prevent disaster.

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
