Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The United Nations is pushing hard for control over the Internet. According to Pakalert Press, a proposal that has the support of China, Russia, India, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Iran would give control of the Internet to the UN’s International Telecommunication Union. This is perhaps the greatest threat to the free and open Internet that we have seen yet. At a UN conference in Dubai this upcoming December, representatives from 193 nations will debate this proposal. The United States and many European nations are firmly against this proposal, but it is unclear whether they have the votes to stop it. Unlike the Security Council, there are no vetoes when it comes to ITU proceedings. So the United States may not be able to stop governance of the Internet from being handed over to the United Nations.
Pakistan conducts fifth missile test in weeks. According to the AFP, Pakistan on Tuesday tested a fifth nuclear-capable missile since India launched a new long-range weapon capable of hitting China just over six weeks ago. The Hatf 7 cruise missile has a range of 440 miles, can carry conventional warheads and has stealth capabilities, the military said. It described the “low flying, terrain hugging missile with high maneuverability” as having “pinpoint accuracy” and “radar avoidance features”. Tuesday’s test was Pakistan’s fifth of a nuclear-capable missile since April 25.
New reports raise alarm about Iran’s nuclear program. According to the Times of Israel, an American think tank questioned whether Iran is secretly constructing a third nuclear enrichment facility and posited that its Fordow site is likely used for producing weapons-grade uranium. The Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) said that Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, a clandestine underground site near the city of Qom, is “unnecessary for its civilian nuclear program” and unneeded unless Iran wants nuclear weapons. “Iran’s decision to build a relatively small, deeply buried enrichment facility without first informing the IAEA suggests that Fordow was intended to be used to make weapon-grade uranium (enriched to over 90 percent) for nuclear weapons, or to provide Iran with that option.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “A Closer Look at God’s Program for Israel (part 1)” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
The last time we looked at Romans 11:25-26 we saw that when God finished gathering the church, He will remove the church (the Rapture) and begin again to deal with Israel. He will remove their blindness, they will look upon Him whom they have pierced and all Israel will be saved. But the salvation of Israel isn’t the only thing in God’s plan for them
Now let’s look at Psalm 72: Once Israel is saved, they have the right to receive the kingdom promised to them. The reason they didn’t receive the Kingdom the first time Jesus came was because they wouldn’t accept His salvation. But once Israel is saved, Messiah will set up his kingdom.
Psalm 72 gives us a pattern for government as it ought to be. This is how Christ is going to rule in the Kingdom.
1. His system of justice (verses 1 & 2) — “Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.” His justice will always be right.
2. His maintenance of world peace (verses 3 and 7) — “The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness…In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.” His peace program will do more than just talk about it.
3. His poverty program (verses 4 and 12-14) — “He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor…For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.”
4. His authoritative rule (verses 8-9 and 11) — “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.”
Jesus must return to earth because His Kingdom is an earthly Kingdom. Look at verse 19: “And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory.” If His glory is on the earth during the Kingdom — He must return!
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to be aware that we are in a spiritual battle. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. The title of this section is “When Christians Wouldn’t Know They Were in a War (Part 20) — Satan Has Limitations”.
The Bible says, “the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil”. The book of Revelation reveals Satan’s ultimate fate: eternal torment in the “lake of fire and brimstone” where, along with the Antichrist and False Prophet, he will be “tormented day and night forever and ever.” We are currently in the interim period between Satan’s death sentence and his execution. When Christ was raised from the dead, Satan’s defeat was made certain. When he is cast into the lake of fire, his eternal death sentence will be carried out.
In the meantime, God calls every believer to stand strong, going to battle in a war that has already been won. We have been called to “fight the good fight” and to endure hardship as a good soldier. We must take to heart the advice Paul gave to Timothy: “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” We are to “Watch, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong” and “war a good warfare”.
Commenting on these passages, J.C. Ryle writes, “Words such as these appear to me clear, plain, and unmistakable. They all teach one and the same great lesson, if we are willing to receive it. That lesson is, that true Christianity is a struggle, a fight and a warfare.”
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
