Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Israel will build a barrier along its border with Jordan. According to The Times of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered IDF and Defense Ministry officials to start planning a new barrier along the Jordanian border. Brigadier General Eran Ofir, a member of the committee in charge of planning border fences, told Israel Radio that Netanyahu ordered his office to begin evaluating the possibility of constructing a new barrier along Israel’s eastern border with Jordan. Israel is already rebuilding the fence along the border with Egypt following terror attacks carried out from Sinai.
Use of RFID tracking technology to be mandatory in the U.S. food stamp program. According to Pakalert Press, the USDA is now considering biometric identification for all individuals who want to benefit from their Food and Nutrition Services. The RFID chip may soon be a must for everyone who does not want to starve. The executive summary of a report regarding fraud in the food stamp program says that “biometric identification technology provides automated methods to identify a person based on physical characteristics—such as fingerprints, hand shape, and characteristics of the eyes and face—as well as behavioral characteristics—including signatures and voice patterns.” Although used in law enforcement and defense for several years, it has recently been used in civilian applications and shows some promise to reduce the number of duplicate cases in the Food Stamp Program and other assistance programs. The use of such a program will resemble the taking of the “mark of the beast” in Revelation 13:16-17 in which earth’s citizens will be beholden to the government for the ability to buy and sell.
Iran claims it is designing a nuclear submarine. According to the AFP, a deputy navy commander said that Iran has taken “initial steps” to design its first nuclear-powered submarine. Admiral Ab-bas Za-mi-ni, the technical deputy navy chief, said “Initial steps to design and build nuclear submarine propulsion systems have begun.” He went on to say that “All countries have the right to use peaceful nuclear technology, including for the propulsion system of its vessels” and that Iran’s navy “needs the (nuclear-powered) propulsion system to succeed in realising very long-distance operations.” He did not provide further details.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “Jesus Christ Must Return to Ultimately Defeat Satan (Part 2)” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
In Revelation 5, John was faced with the dilemma of who was going to take back the earth from Satan. Verse 1 begins this vision: “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.” Roman law required that any kind of a will or title deed that was to be transferred, had to be sealed seven times. This scroll that God had in His hand was the title deed to earth.
Verse 2 continues: “And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” In other words, “Who’s going to take the earth from Satan and give it back to the one to whom it belongs?” But nobody could do it.
In verse 4, John started to cry: “And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.” In verse 5, one of the elders came to John and said, “Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns (symbolizing perfect power) and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God (or the seven-fold Holy Spirit) sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” Who is this? Who is the only one who can take back the earth? Jesus Christ. This is one more reason why Jesus must return to earth. He’s the only one who can take possession of the earth and wrest it from the hands of Satan.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to be aware that we are in a spiritual battle. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. The title of this section is “When Christians Wouldn’t Know They Were in a War (Part 26) — Putting On the Armor of God”.
In his wonderful paraphrase of Ephesians 6:10–18, international conference speaker Jack Taylor writes about the armor of the Lord and explains how he puts on the armor every morning with this declaration:
I choose now to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I confess that I am in the Lord and thus, am located in the power of His might.
I choose to put on the whole armor that God has provided me, in order that I might stand against the methods of the enemy. I know that the battle is not with flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
He writes that when he gets to that place, he actually stands up and continues:
Therefore I stand to accept the armor, which is mine in Jesus… I put on the breastplate of righteousness, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is made unto me righteousness. I am made righteous in Him.
I put on the girdle of truth. I accept the fact that Jesus is Truth and that Truth has made me free. I refuse deception and I accept the truth.
I slip into the footwear of preparation in the Gospel. I am now ready to walk with Him.
I put on the helmet of salvation. The certainty of my salvation covers and protects my mind and my outlook. I stand in that certainty now!
I take up the shield of faith. I now trust in the trustworthiness of God! I am covered from head to toe so that Satan’s fiery darts cannot touch me…
I now take my offensive weapon, the Word of God… declaring it to be true without error, reliable, powerful, and alive—God’s word to me!
And now I am dressed from head to foot for battle. On my head is the helmet of salvation, on my body is the breastplate of righteousness and the girdle of truth. On my feet is the footwear of preparation of the Gospel of peace. In my left hand is the shield of faith. In my right hand is the Word of God. I am now ready for the engagement of prayer.

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
