Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Deadly violence erupts on Israel’s borders with Egypt and Gaza. According to Reuters, Militants who crossed into Israel from Egypt’s Sinai desert fired on Israelis building a barrier on the border on Monday, killing one worker, before soldiers shot dead two of the attackers. Hours later, an Israeli air strike on the northern Gaza Strip killed two militants on a motorcycle. Islamic Jihad said they belonged to their group. The military said the strike was not linked to the incident on the border. The Sinai attack, launched soon after Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood declared victory in the country’s presidential election, raised Israeli concerns about lawlessness in the area since the fall of former President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said, “We can see a disturbing deterioration in Egypt’s control of the Sinai’s security.”
Joel C. Rosenburg says America may face cataclysmic collapse in the not-too distant future. According to World Net Daily, in his new book, Implosion: Can America Recover from its Economic & Spiritual Challenges in Time?, Rosenberg explores the question a growing number of politicians, academics, authors and others are asking about the future of the United States. Rosenberg said, “My concern is we are experiencing an epic failure of leadership at almost every level of American society right now. Something has gone terribly wrong with the American experiment. Our families are imploding, our national debt is exploding, experts on the left and right are warning us that we need to change our direction because we’re on an unsustainable trajectory economically, socially and culturally.” In the book, Rosenberg explores whether the United States – long the wealthiest, most powerful nation in history – is an empire in decline or a nation poised for a historic renaissance. The book asks whether America’s religious past can be repeated today with a Third Great Awakening, or whether the rise of China, Russia and other nations, coupled with America’s internal struggles, will plunge the country into terminal decline. In “Implosion,” Rosenberg outlines the reasons why the U.S. faces a real and growing risk of collapse. The book is published by Tyndale House Publishers and retails for $26.99.
Religious riots in Nigeria leave bodies littering the streets. According to Reuters, at least 52 people were killed in religious rioting sparked by three suicide bombings against churches in northern Nigeria, where the dead were on Monday piled up in mortuaries and cemeteries in the city of Kaduna. A Reuters reporter visited two hospitals in Kaduna, where the rioting broke out on Sunday after suicide car bombers attacked three churches in northern Nigeria, killing at least 19 people and wounding dozens. Witnesses said Christian youths had set up roadblocks and dragged Muslims from cars or motorbikes and killed them. Corpses littered the ground in parts of the city. They were piled one on top of the other in an old cemetery, some charred. A soldier guarding the site said there were at least 30 bodies of people killed in the violence at that site.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Hope of the Saints (Part 2)” from John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” MacArthur writes the following on this subject:
As the Bible tells us in I Thessalonians 4:16-17: There are countless multitudes of spirits in heaven whose bodies haven’t come out of the grave yet. They’re waiting for the resurrection when they get reunited with their bodies, so they can enjoy eternity like it’s going to be enjoyed forever.
In Revelation 6:9-10, John says, “I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” Here are some of the dead in Christ from the Tribulation waiting for Christ to return. Please note that the dead in Christ have a guarantee that they’re going to have a resurrection: the resurrection of Christ.
Not only are the dead in Christ waiting for Jesus to come, we who are alive are waiting too. We’re waiting for that marvelous day. Paul wrote to Titus, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” We’re looking for Him to come.
I John 3:2-3 says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
These are the priorities of God: The humiliation of Jesus demands that He return and get the glory He deserves; the present exaltation of Satan demands that Jesus return and take the earth back from Him; and the hope of the saints demands that Jesus return, because God doesn’t give his people false hope.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
God wants us to have the right spiritual attitude toward the world as it crumbles around us in these last days. In light of that, please listen to what Dr. David Jeremiah writes in his book titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day” about the mentality that Christians should have.
The apostle Paul wrote about this very protection from conformation and power for transformation nineteen hundred years ago in his letter to the Christians in Rome. Those believers were living under the hateful eye of emperors such as the demoniacal Nero, who made sport of persecuting them. And to those beleaguered believers who were no doubt already sacrificing much, Paul gave what must have sounded like the strangest advice: In order not to be conformed, and in order to be transformed, you must sacrifice yourselves.
Sacrifice yourselves? They must have wondered what in the world Paul meant. To anyone living in the first-century Mediterranean world, sacrifice was an ever-present reality. The slit throats, draining carcasses, and burning flesh of sacrificial animals were common in every city with a pagan temple. Every loyal Mediterranean Jew who made his or her way to Jerusalem for the annual celebrations to Yahweh was also familiar with the bloody ritual of sacrifice. The only redeeming aspect of sacrifice was that worshippers were glad it was the animal they contributed lying on the altar, and not themselves.
Yet Paul’s words in Romans 12:1–2 changed all that. Paul told them (and he tells us) that protection against conformity and power to be transformed can happen only if we sacrifice ourselves:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
