Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. 50 Christians are attacked during prayer meeting in India. According to Christian Persecution Update, a prayer meeting held at the house of a tribal Christian, Mad-hu-kar Salve, was disrupted by a militant mob on Sunday. Around 11 am, over 50 Christians were singing devotional songs at Salve’s house when the mob assaulted them. Salve has been holding prayer sessions every Sunday for the past two years. No arrests have been made yet.
2. China is on alert as disease outbreak infects hundreds of thousands. According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Chinese province of Hunan urged parents to seek immediate treatment for children showing symptoms of hand, foot and mouth disease after official figures showed 112 people died from the illness last month. The disease, which children are especially vulnerable to, also infected more than 381,000 people in June. According to the Ministry of Health, over 460,000 people were infected by the disease in May, leading to 132 deaths. The health departments of numerous provinces have issued warnings over the outbreak of the disease.
3. Tensions rise after U.S. navy fires on boat in the Persian Gulf. According to CNN, the U.S. navy ship Rappahannock, fired at and disabled a small boat in the Persian Gulf on Monday. Two U.S. Consular Officials in Dubai stated that the boat “came too close” to the ship, and that at least one person aboard the boat was killed and three injured. International tensions are high in the Gulf, especially since just last week Iran threatened again to close the Strait of Hormuz — the narrow passage for twenty percent of the world’s oil. Washington is reported to have dispatched a fourth aircraft carrier and a fleet of underwater drones to Gulf waters.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:6-7: “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “Israel in the Tribulation (Part 2)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Dr. MacArthur writes the following on this subject.
I do not believe that the church replaces Israel. You say, “But the Bible says that we are the seed of Abraham by faith, we are spiritual Israel.” Well, we are the spiritual children of Abraham, but that does not mean that all of the promises given to Abraham are void. In fact, do you know why a Christian can be considered a spiritual child of Abraham? Because Christ is of the seed of Abraham and Christians are in Christ. We are spiritual children of Abraham only by virtue of our union with Christ by faith — we are not physical children of Abraham by birth. To assume that all the promises to the physical children of Abraham (national Israel) are negated because we are the spiritual children of Abraham is not a fair approach. God’s promises to the nation of Israel have not been invalidated — He must keep His word.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”
God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:
Let God’s Word Speak
Rather than recite an elaborate presentation, simply open your Bible and let God’s Word speak for itself. For this to work, you will need a Bible (preferably a small one because small Bibles tend to be less intimidating to non-christians), and a few salvation passages to share.
Invite your friend to read a verse aloud and then have him explain the verse to you. If your friend interprets a passage incorrectly, don’t argue or offer your interpretation, but politely ask him to read it again, and then explain it a second time.
Even if your friend mentions that he doesn’t believe in or agree with the Bible, it is best not to argue. You can state that you simply want him to understand what the Bible says about eternity. Isn’t it wonderful to know that it’s not our responsibility to convict? Conviction is God’s job. All we can do is share. Once we have shared, we have done God’s will. Witnessing for Christ is a no-lose activity.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
