Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Israel denies report that the United States shared plan to attack Iran. According to Reuters, a senior Israeli official denied a newspaper report that President Barack Obama’s national security adviser had briefed Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a U.S. contingency plan to attack Iran should diplomacy fail to curb its nuclear program. The Israeli Haaretz daily on Sunday quoted an unnamed U.S. official as saying the adviser, Thomas Donilon, had described the plan over dinner with Netanyahu earlier this month. A senior official said, “Nothing in the article is correct. Donilon did not meet the prime minister for dinner, he did not meet him one-on-one, nor did he present operational plans to attack Iran.”
2. The United States reportedly expects a strike on Iran in October. According to Israel Today, A senior and widely respected analyst with Israel’s Channel 2 News said that top American officials have become convinced that Israel will launch a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities in October, just one month before the US presidential election. Ehud Yaari had just returned from a trip to Washington, where he had met with government officials and said that “my impression is that the Americans are convinced that there is very high chance that Israel will decide to attack in Iran before the elections in the US.” According to Yaari, American officials see an Israeli strike on Iran as almost a foregone conclusion, and are focusing on their response to the possible outcomes of such an action.
3. Syrian forces bombard the country’s largest city. According to The Los Angeles Times, Syrian guns pounded rebel positions in Aleppo as panicked residents streamed from the besieged city and the opposition denied the military was driving out insurgents. The United Nations said more than 200,000 people had fled the city in the last two days. The flight coincides with a military bombardment with artillery and helicopter gunships. The United States and other nations have warned of a possible bloodbath in Aleppo, about 200 miles north of Damascus, the Syrian capital.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:6-7, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Collecting of Israel (Part 2)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ezekiel was given a vision from the Lord in which he saw a valley full of bones. Ezekiel 37:2 tells us “there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.” As the vision continued, Ezekiel saw the bones come together, he saw sinews (ligaments), flash, and skin come and cover the bones’ and then he saw them come back to life.
Verses 12-14 read: “Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.”
In the explanation of this vision, Ezekiel was told that the Jews (the bones) are going to be physically regathered from the nations of the earth (the graves), and then spiritually regenerated by the Spirit of God.
Lord willing, we will continue looking at the Collecting of Israel in our next broadcast.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”
God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:
Overcome Fear
You may be saying in your mind and heart, “I’m afraid to share my faith.”
That is perfectly OK. the apostle Paul went to share his faith with much fear, weakness, and trembling. But still he went. I can’t make you a promise your fear will go away completely, but it will get easier. I promise you your faith in God will go to an entirely new level as you share your faith.
What God wants to teach you is that he can work through your life despite your personality, lack of spiritual gifts, or talents. There is no insignificant Christian, for we all have the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us.

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
