Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Iranian media calls on Syria to attack Israel. According to Israel National News, an Iranian newspaper which is considered the mouthpiece of the Supreme Leader says that Syrian President Bashar Assad should attack Israel. Iran is concerned that the fall of Assad’s regime will cost the Islamic Republic its closest ally and could ignite anti-Syrian elements in Lebanon. The Kayhan newspaper, which operates directly under the supervision of the Islamic Supreme Leader of Iran, wrote last week that Assad has every reason to strike Israel because of Israel’s alleged responsibility for the bombing in Damascus, which killed several of Assad’s’ top military officers.
2. Facial recognition technology is already more widespread than most people realize. According to Ars Technica, Jennifer Lynch, a staff attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, said “Many Americans don’t realize they’re already in a facial recognition database.” Addressing the Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law, Lynch pointed out that there is a painful disconnect between how little personal action is required to capture a face and how much personal information can be associated with it. While the hearing was heavy with concerns, solutions or suggestions for limiting facial recognition were not forthcoming.
3. Religious freedom in Nepal opens doors for the Bible. According to Persecution.org, 15 years ago, Christians were put in jail for their faith in Nepal. However, a change in government in 2008 meant that Christmas could be openly celebrated and that churches and groups like the Nepal Bible Society have been officially recognized. Bibles For The World says their ministry launched an ambitious project at the beginning of 2012 to print and distribute a million copies of the Gospel of John. Already, they have printed the first 500,000 copies and with their partners, the Nepal Bible Society, Koi-no-nia Patan Church, and 50 other churches, they are raising more funds to see the project through.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Covenants with Israel (Part 6)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Dr. MacArthur writes:
In Psalm 89:34-35, David says this of God: “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.” The principle is clear: When God makes a promise, He keeps it! We can’t take all of the references to future glory for Israel and apply them to the church. Israel is to receive the blessing of the Kingdom. And in order to enter the kingdom, they’re going to have to go through the Tribulation.
So, the divine covenants give Israel a place in the Tribulation. But not only are there divine covenants, there is also a satanic covenant that necessitates Israel’s place in the Tribulation. We will begin looking at this satanic covenant on our next broadcast.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”
God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:
The Sin of Silence
Debate has flourished about which of the wounds inflicted on Jesus actually caused his death. Among the many wounds he received were lacerations, punctures, abrasions, and contusions. In a sense we can say that none of these killed Jesus. The wound that killed him was silence. No one spoke up for him.
Though most of us have never said, like Peter, “I don’t know him,” we’ve still found a way to deny him. We deny Jesus by never opening our mouths. We deny Jesus with our silence.
We should be excited about sharing out faith. We are living in a time when biblical prophecies are being fulfilled right and left. Yet most of us remain silent. In the meantime, one hundred thousand churches will close their doors this decade. Why? Because those church members chose the sin of silence.

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
