Complete Broadcast Text
Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Iran pledges to deploy warships in the Atlantic. According to Cybercast News Service, Iran’s top naval commander has said Iranian Navy vessels will soon be plying the Atlantic Ocean, having made great strides in recent years in expanding its presence beyond Iranian waters. Rear Admiral Say-yari’s comments came on the same day Iran launched its first domestically-built oil tanker. The 21,000-ton vessel was ordered by Venezuela, and Say-yari’s remarks raise the possibility that a warship may escort the tanker on its delivery sailing to Iran’s Latin American ally. Iran has also established close ties with Cuba, another potential destination for an Iranian Navy Atlantic voyage.
2. Scotland plans to legalize homosexual marriage. According to Agence France-Presse, Scotland plans to bring forward legislation allowing same-sex couples to marry, making it the first part of the UK to do so. Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the decision and said the government intends to publish draft legislation late this year. Supporters called the decision “a proud day for Scotland”, but the move was quickly slammed by the Catholic Church, which labelled it a “dangerous social experiment”.
3. Vietnamese government waging war on Christianity. According to The American Thinker, the Vietnamese regime’s religion is communism and it views all other organized religions as a direct threat to national security and its authoritarian control. The government’s latest violations of religious freedom include the destruction of two ethnic minority churches and the threatened destruction of a third. The churches belonged to a community of believers in Vietnam’s northwest mountainous region which grew from nothing to include some 400,000 believers in the last 20 years. A violent attack was also launched against a Catholic church where a priest was beaten and dozens of parishioners were injured. Local sources believe that this is part of a government campaign to eradicate Christianity in rural areas in Vietnam.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 4:4: “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Covenants with Israel (Part 7)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Today, we will begin looking at The Satanic Covenant:
In Daniel 9:27 is the introduction of the satanic covenant: “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” The “he” refers to “the prince that shall come.” This is the Antichrist, the political Beast, the false world rule of the end time. We see here that Israel will make a seven-year covenant with a political leader — the Antichrist. Now if Israel is going to make a covenant during the seven years, they are going to have to be in the seven years…right? That seems pretty obvious. I don’t know how some people can look at the Tribulation without seeing the nation of Israel as a major part of it. The exact nature of this covenant between Antichrist and Israel demands that they be there.
The Bible doesn’t tell us too much about this covenant or treaty, but I do know that the Jews today are struggling over the temple ground presently occupied by the Mosque of Omar. Somehow, the Antichrist is going to grant Israel the right to carry on their own sacrifices and worship in their own temple on their own temple ground.
You say, “What’s his purpose?” The Bible doesn’t say, but I believe he does what Israel wants for the sake of expediency. Israel is wealthy, and they’re getting wealthier every year. Not only that, but their tremendous resources and strategic location in the Middle East would be a lot to offer a political ruler. I believe the Antichrist sees the expediency in working out a treaty with Israel; but after three and one-half years he gains sufficient power to just take over.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”
God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:
Is It Your Job?
God has called each of us to share our faith, in obedience. He has called each of us to evangelize. If one of your excuses for not sharing your faith is, “I don’t have the gift of evangelism,” then you need to examine Scripture. You will find the command of the Great Commission: to evangelize, to encourage evangelism, and to urge evangelism.
I don’t have the overt gift of mercy. Yet I’m required to be merciful. As a volunteer police chaplain, I often have to visit hospitals to comfort the survivors of a horrible tragedy. And because I am not naturally merciful, I have to depend on God to supernaturally release his mercy through me.
We all must evangelize through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul wrote, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” This means that God has given us the strength to share our faith, despite our lack of gifts, talents, and abilities.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
