Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. 70,000 Christians are locked in prison camps in North Korea. According to World Net Daily, sources confirm that North Korea has eased or lifted a number of restrictions for citizens since Kim Jong Un succeeded his father. However, Ryan Morgan, an analyst with International Christian Concern said that whatever secular benefits may have trickled down to residents of the isolated communist nation, there is no evidence of any improvement in the condition of the persecuted church there. Morgan said, “The regime still has up to 70,000 Christians locked away in virtual concentration camps” and explained that entire families can go to jail for simply owning a Bible. “We’re hoping and praying this changes soon, but we haven’t seen any sign of it yet.”
2. Iran boasts of increased nuclear enrichment capabilities. According to The Times of Israel, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran has increased the number of active centrifuges enriching uranium for its nuclear program by 1,000 bringing the total to 11,000 centrifuges active in enrichment facilities. The higher figure indicates that when Iran was engaged in ultimately fruitless talks with the West over its nuclear program, it was working to increase its uranium enrichment capability.
3. Dubai official warns that Muslim Brotherhood is plotting to overthrow Gulf states. According to Reuters, Dubai’s chief of police has warned of an “international plot” to overthrow the governments of Gulf Arab countries, saying the region needs to be prepared to counter any threat from Islamist dissidents as well as Syria and Iran. The comments by Da-hi Khal-fan, one of the most outspoken security officials in the United Arab Emirates, follow the detention of at least 20 dissidents, according to relatives of the detainees and activists. Khal-fan told reporters, “We have to be alert and on guard because the wider these groups become, the higher probability there is for trouble.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
Our topic for today is titled “The Covenants with Israel (Part 8)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Today, we will complete our look at The Satanic Covenant:
Daniel 9:27 continues, “…and in the midst of the week (the seven-year tribulation) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…” He brings their worship to a grinding halt. “…and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
In the middle of the Tribulation, after Antichrist has gotten Israel in his grip by protecting them, giving them their temple grounds, and letting them carry on their worship, he realizes his power and decides to take over. He cleans out the Temple, stops Israel’s worship, and sets himself up to be worshiped. In fact, he demands that everyone in the world worship him.
You say, “How do you know he is going to do that?” Second Thessalonians 2:3-4 tell us, “…for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” This guy just takes over and says, “From now on, you will all worship me. I’m God.” And according to Revelation 13:8, the world will worship him: “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
So the abomination of desolation talked about by Jesus in Matthew 24:15 takes place when the Antichrist goes into the temple, throws out the Jewish sacrifices, stops the Jewish worship, and sets himself up as God. According to Daniel 7:25, while he sits in the temple for three and one-half years declaring himself to be God, he will “wear out the saints of the Most High.” This surely will be the “time of Jacob’s trouble.”
We see Israel in the Tribulation by way of the divine covenants and the satanic covenant.
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”
God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:
Overcome the Fear of Rejection
Just what is successful evangelism? Success is sharing your faith and living your life for Jesus Christ. It has nothing whatsoever to do with bringing anyone to the Lord.
We need to get away from the “win them” mentality. People do not put their faith in Christ because we force them to believe. They put their faith in Christ because God uses us to point out the truth.
When people reject your message, it is not you they reject; they are rejecting Jesus and God’s Word. Therefore, you didn’t fail in your obedience. Even if the way you share the message is tactless or unloving, God can use it. What he can’t use is your sin of silence.

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
