Breaking Prophecy News; The Collecting of Israel, Part 3 (#151)

Complete Broadcast Text

Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.

First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.

The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1. Electricity grids fail across half of India. According to the Associated Press, India’s energy crisis cascaded over half the country when three of its regional grids collapsed, leaving 620 million people without government-supplied electricity in one of the world’s biggest-ever blackouts. Hundreds of trains stalled across the country and traffic lights went out, causing widespread traffic jams in New Delhi. The massive failure — a day after a similar, but smaller power failure — has raised serious concerns about India’s outdated infrastructure and the government’s inability to meet its huge appetite for energy as the country aspires to become a regional economic superpower.

2. Deadly ebola outbreak hits Uganda. According to the Wall Street Journal, the world’s first major outbreak of Ebola fever since 2009 has killed at least 14 of 20 people infected in a remote area of midwestern Uganda. International health officials are rushing to respond to the outbreak, which erupted at the beginning of July but was identified as the deadly Ebola virus only on Friday, meaning it potentially spread substantially before being caught. New reports indicate that the virus has spread to the capital of Kam-pa-la.

3. U.S. government is preparing for violence and unrest surrounding political events. According to Reuters, the Department of Homeland Security has ordered masses of riot gear equipment to prepare for potential significant domestic riots at the Republican National Convention, Democratic National Convention and next year’s presidential inauguration. The riot gear will be worn by Federal Protective Service agents who are tasked with protecting property, grounds and buildings owned by the federal government. The urgency of the order can be explained by the fact that there is a growing anticipation that many demonstrators will travel to the conventions of both major political parties. On top of that, the DHS has recently purchased a number of bullet-proof checkpoint booths and hired hundreds of new security guards to protect government buildings.

The Bible says in Matthew 24:6-7, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.

Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.

Our topic for today is titled “The Collecting of Israel (Part 3)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

In Ezekiel 37:16-17, the Lord tells Ezekiel “…take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.”

You say, “What’s that all about?” The explanation is given in verses 19-22: “Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand…And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.”

Here is the promise of God that the northern and southern kingdoms will be rejoined into one nation. He will accomplish this in the Millennium.

Beloved, we haven’t begun to see all these things take place. There is no spiritual regeneration, no sweeping movement toward God, no planting of the Holy Spirit. Even though we are seeing a regathering, it’s not the regathering which is so closely connected to the regeneration. What we’re seeing today is just preliminary.

In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”

God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:

The Power of God’s Word

God’s Word penetrates and changes hearts toward his Son. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Do you remember what you were like before you became a believer? The Bible probably had little or no meaning to you or your life. Yet somehow, when you became a Christian, the Bible seemed different.

The Bible didn’t change; you changed. You became a new creation. Suddenly, this book became alive with meaning about life and eternity. The Bible says a man without the Spirit does not understand the things of the spirit. So, how in the world can you reach someone who cannot understand God’s love? You cannot. That is the job of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will move through God’s Word.

CLOSING PRAYER
…….

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns.

Please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please also understand that because of your sins, you deserve eternal punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell. Now, that is the bad news.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This verse is telling us that despite our sinfulness, God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for your sins and mine. After He died on the cross, He was buried and rose again. Now, all you have to do is believe in Him, trust in Him and have faith in Him for your salvation. If you do so, you will not suffer eternal punishment in hell, but you will live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose again, and you meant this prayer from your heart, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
