Breaking Prophecy News; The Collecting of Israel, Part 6 (#154)

Complete Broadcast Text

Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation.

First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.

The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1. Netanyahu says he will take responsibility for the consequences if Israel strikes Iran. According to The Blaze, as Iran draws dangerously close to attaining the nuclear arsenal it has been working tirelessly to build, the Israeli prime minister is prepared to show the world that, with or without U.S. aid, Israel will strike Iran if necessary. He’s also not afraid to accept responsibility for the ensuing consequences should such a strike take place. His bold declaration, made during a closed meeting this week, only underscores his disappointment in current security establishment officials. According to Haaretz, a number of officials who attended the meeting said the prime minister is steadfast in his resolve not to rely on the United States and can be expected to order an IDF strike against Iran in the months ahead.

2. Global ‘weirdness’ is seen in multiple extreme weather events. According to USA TODAY, a plague of extreme weather events, from Greenland briefly thawing to the derecho thunderstorms that knocked out power for millions across the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Midwest has struck this summer. Above all, an exceptional drought has marked roughly 50% of all U.S. counties nationwide as federal disaster areas. That’s on top of last year, which saw record U.S. tornadoes, floods and a drought that tortured Texas and Oklahoma. A panel of climate scientists found that temperatures, heat waves, increasing sea levels and many other extreme events, such as tornadoes or floods are suggestive of the results of a warming climate.

3. The upcoming election could spark rampant civil unrest in the U.S. According to Prophecy News Watch, a multitude of recent polls and surveys have shown that Americans are angrier and more frustrated than ever. This election season is likely to be one of the most heated and divisive election seasons in U.S. history, and if there is not a clear winner on election night there is the potential that chaos could be unleashed. As Christian economist Michael T. Snyder said, “The American people are so hot and so angry that it would not take much to set off a raging political fire…a single spark could set this country ablaze.”

The Bible says in Luke 21:25-26, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.

Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy, the Second Coming of Christ, and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.

Our topic for today is titled “The Collecting of Israel (Part 6)” from Dr. John MacArthur’s book “The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The Bible says in Jeremiah 32:37-42:

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

I believe that what we’re seeing today is just a preliminary regathering for the Tribulation, not the final regathering for their redemption and entrance into the Kingdom. They’re coming back now to be killed and to be punished.

In closing, let’s consider what God wants you and I to do in light of His Second Coming.

Jesus Christ said in Luke 19:13 to “Occupy till I come.”

God wants us to be faithful witnesses for Him in the last days. We should be engaged in spreading the Gospel to those around us. In light of that, please listen to the following from William Fay, author of “Share Jesus Without Fear”:

Answering Objections to the Bible

You may get one of two objections when you open your Bible. Your friend may say the Bible has too many errors or too many translations.

When your friend says, ‘There are many errors in the Bible’, don’t go off on a rabbit trail. Instead, with all the love you can muster, hand your friend your Bible and ask him, ‘Would you show me one?’ Your friend will most likely respond by saying, ‘Well, I can’t.’ You should simply reply, “I can’t either.”

When someone says, “There are many translations of the Bible,” I answer this statement by simply saying, “Yes, there are.” You see, the nonbeliever thinks he’s “gotch-ya.” And when you say to him, “Did you know you are absolutely right? There are many translations of Scriptures. But did you know they all say the same thing?” The nonbeliever says, “No, I didn’t!” and you say, “Let’s turn to Romans 3:23.”

Let’s examine Scripture for a moment. For two thousand years, men and women have studied this book to prove it true or false. Isn’t it interesting no one ever found an error? Think about it this way, if your heavenly Father can’t write a book without a proven error, why would you expect him to be able to get you out of a grave?

CLOSING PRAYER
…….

Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns.

Please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please also understand that because of your sins, you deserve eternal punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell. Now, that is the bad news.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This verse is telling us that despite our sinfulness, God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for your sins and mine. After He died on the cross, He was buried and rose again. Now, all you have to do is believe in Him, trust in Him and have faith in Him for your salvation. If you do so, you will not suffer eternal punishment in hell, but you will live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose again, and you meant this prayer from your heart, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
